What is FirstLine Therapy? First line therapy or FLT is a personalized lifestyle medicine program centered on therapeutic lifestyle changes (TLC) such as healthy nutrition, nutritional products, exercise, and stress management. FLT is a new standard for managing chronic illness and leading health organizations now recommend TLC as the "first line of therapy" for treating and reducing the risk of common conditions such as:
-Overweight/Obesity
-High cholesterol
-High blood pressure
-Metabolic syndrome
-Type 2 diabetes
-Cardiovascular disease
-Osteoporosis
-Osteoarthritis
-Conditions related to aging
Lifestyle choices are also the key to addressing other health concerns and symptoms, such as:
-Fatigue
-Hormone imbalance
-Low sex drive
-Stress-related symptoms
-Poor memory or lack of mental clarity
This program is presented in an interactive format with components for physicians, licensed health care provide and all patients of any age. Participants in the FLT program have the option of attending the program class one time a week for for twelve structured weeks. Each person in the class has the options of having therapeutic measurements taken, BMI and BIA calculated along with a hip to waist ratio. The goal is that each person is educated on how to manage the health concerns listed above, but understand what these body is made of, to make better lifestyle decisions.

The class at this point is designed for patients at the clinic, but we invite anybody with interest to attend to see if we can help.
