Great River Spine is highly involved in the community and always willing to help in any way that we can. If there is an event that your company needs help with, please call any one of our offices so we can assist. Below is a list of the events that we have throughout the community over the next month.
Hello, my name is Denise Christianson and I work for Great River Spine & Sport. I am currently involved with an organization called Operation Minnesota Nice to help support our troops overseas. This is a project that is very important to me and that I am very passionate about. This organization sends care packages to troops that are not receiving, or receiving very little from home. I have an 18 year old son that has recently deployed to Afghanistan with the United States Marine Corps, and I cannot imagine him or any other troops going without the things that they need! I have been sending many care packages to my son, as there are many essential items that the troops do not have that we take for granted. It is my goal to get as much community involvement as possible to gain donations for Operation Minnesota Nice so that we can provide essential items (and even some non-essential items to brighten their day!) to the troops serving overseas. I brought this to the attention of my employer, Great River Spine and Sport, and we’ve decided to partner with Operation Minnesota Nice.
For the month of June, we are offering our services to the community. Anyone willing to donate $10 to Operation Minnesota Nice for care package supplies and shipping costs will be entitled to a complimentary 1stvisit to any of our clinics. They will receive a complimentary initial consultation, neurological exam, orthopedic exam, x-rays (if needed), and treatment. Existing patients will receive a complimentary adjustment on Thursday, June 30th.
We are also offering chair massages for employees of local businesses. If you and your business would like us to come to your workplace and conduct chair massages for a select time frame for your employees in the month of June, we would be happy to. We would not charge for our time or service but only ask for a donation to Operation Minnesota Nice.
